Zyban/Welbutrin

I've also used Welbutrin & it worked great on the cravings. I only had one side effect but it was a big one. It made me so very dehydrated. I had to drink water constantly & go to bathroom much more often. It caused bad dry mouth. I would still recommend it b/c it was amazing how much it helped. I did not even like smoking after a while.

Start Welbutrin while u begin to make changes in ur smoking behaviors. Try not smoking when u typically do, like driving, after meals, ect. This will help u ease out of ur comfort zone & prepare u when u do stop smoking. The Welbutrin takes a week or two to take full effect so u will want to smoke less & less during this process. You do not have to plan a date to quit just a general ball park. Studies have shown that planing a quit date causes anxiety & reenforces the urge to smoke. Just be true to yourself & when the moments right, soak those cigs & toss 'em in the trash. Also make sure to clean ashtrays & get them out of site. You will wo not to use products like baking soda, fabreeze, & oust to clean ur car & ur home b/c when ur sense of smell comes back, the stale smoke odor will really bother you. Remember, if u slip up after u quit, do not give up. It does not mean that u failed, it just means u need to focus on why u want to quit.

I USED WELBUTRIN XL. It took away all my cravings, I stopped smoking and lost weight, I still take 300mg everyday. I never crave a smoke now, in the past I would always crave and go back.
